Christmas markets from late November, cold nights (-2 to 5°C). Lowest hotel prices in January–February. Festive atmosphere without Vienna's crush.
Mild shoulder season (10–22°C), terraces opening up, Small Carpathians turning green. Excellent value — comfortable before summer crowds arrive.
Hot and sunny (25–32°C). Danube terraces packed, river cruises running, Senec lakes just 30 min away. Peak season — book ahead.
The best season for many visitors. Wine harvest in the Small Carpathians (Pezinok, Modra, Rača), St Martin's Day new wine (11 Nov), golden colours, mild weather.
